Student Reception: Daily 9:00 – 19:00

  1. General: Linear and non-linear spectroscopic studies in solid state bulk and/or nanomaterials focusing on the changes induced in their structure and optical properties by high hydrostatic pressure and/or other parameters like temperature, illumination, preparation method, size, environment, etc.
  2. Materials: Graphene, carbon nanotubes and derivatives, fullerites, crystalline and polycrystalline materials for lasers, metallic nanoparticles, colorants, amorphous materials (glasses) etc.
  3. Techniques: Raman/micro-Raman Spectroscopy, Vis/IR Absorption Spectroscopy, Ultrafast Spectroscopy: pump-probe femtosecond time-resolved techniques in IR/Vis/UV in combination with diamond anvil cell based high hydrostatic pressure generation and high/low temperature techniques.
