I am writing to you in my capacity as educational coordinator of the Institut de Français (IDF) at the University of Orléans to explore the possibilities for cooperation in the field of French language learning. We are located in the heart of the Châteaux de la Loire, one hour from Paris. You will find attached our programme flyer.
More specifically, I would like to draw your attention to our summer language and culture course (flyer attached), which will run from 17 June to 12 July 2024.
For over 15 years, this programme has been offering a French immersion learning experience in Orléans and the surrounding area. This 2 to 4 week programme combines intensive French courses, creative and fun workshops, and immersion practice through visits and cultural, sporting and social activities. We also offer the possibility of staying with a host family, so that you can fully experience the language on a daily basis.
Enrolment is open (until 24 May for the first 2 weeks or the whole month, and until 7 June for the last 2 weeks) to anyone over 18, even beginners.
Throughout the year, we also organise bespoke trips for groups of students from the same university (minimum 10 participants). Then, we work with the university to elaborate a programme that meets the needs of the group as closely as possible.
